| The Werner Scholz GmbH was founded in 1983. Werner Scholz took over the company after having worked there as a technical employer before. The company was located in the Schlesische Straße in Berlin Kreuzberg and held at the time of the business take over 12 employees. Manufactured products were turning, milling and drilling parts on conventional machines. Some of the major clients in former times were for instance companies such as Wabco, Berliner Wasserbetriebe and Mannesmann-Rexroth. Because of the steadily rising work amount the Werner Scholz GmbH moved into new facilities in the Wolfener Straße in Berlin Marzahn where the production area had to be extended to approximately 2000 square metres. The originally small production company had become by then an industrial enterprise employing 35 workers. During this period the machine outfit was constantly modernized and extended. In the milling and turning department quality-precise In order to meet the growing expectations of our customers concerning quality standards in 1999 the integration of a Quality-Management-System took place which was and will be permanently upgraded and extended. In April 2000 the DIN EN ISO 9002 was successfully achieved through the TÜV. Three years later the certification by DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 was also finished off with a positive result which placed the company save into a strong position on the market of the national and international automobile industry. In 2006 the re-certification of DIN EN ISO 9001:2001 was successfully achieved by the DEKRA. Also DIN EN ISO14001 was successfully achieved. Over the years new clients like Siemens and Knorr-Bremse joined the list of earlier mentioned and business relations with renowned clients were extended and deepened. Another milestone in our history was the introduction of production planning/controlling system in the beginning of 2005, which made it now possible for us to send and receive data such as for example orders via EDI. Werner Scholz GmbH has a staff of 53 employees at the moment. As a consequence of the still rising number of errands the production sector as well as the administrative complex were further enlarged in 2004. The results are 850 square meters of new production area and 250 square meters newly built in the office part. Our highest goal was and is complete satisfaction of our customers. Through permanent modernization and expansion of our machine outfit and a human resource management, in which high qualifications and motivation of the employee are ranking first, we try to achieve this goal. |
